Recent Developments
A bunkering demonstration transferring LNG to a ship was carried out on 2 May 2017 – the first time LNG had been supplied to a ship from a port in Southeast Asia. The demonstration was carried out by Pavilion Energy and Sinochem through Absoenergy. The bunkering process involved the transfer of the gas from a truck to Sinochem’s LNG ISO Tank on a vessel alongside Jurong Port’s berths.
After loading, the ISO Tank was exported to China
