On 2 May 2017, a groundbreaking bunkering demonstration transferring LNG to a ship was carried out. This marked the first time LNG had been supplied to a ship from a port in Southeast Asia. The demonstration, executed by Pavilion Energy and Sinochem through Absoenergy, involved transferring LNG from a truck to Sinochem’s LNG ISO Tank on a vessel at Jurong Port. After loading, the ISO Tank was exported to China.
